Diversion Media Joins Joost Travel and Snowboarding Channels to be Added to Global Video Distribution Platform

New York (PRWeb) March 22, 2007 -- Diversion Media, a leading publisher of broadband video channels, announced today that it will distribute its content through Joost's free global video distribution platform.

Diversion will launch Travelistic, a video channel for travelers, and Snowvision, a snowboard video channel, in April 2007.

"They are a perfect partner for our approach, addressing niche audiences with vertical brands." As the former CEO of SonicNet and MTV Interactive Group, Mr. Butterworth has been a pioneer in new models for content on the internet since 1994.

Travelistic, launched on the web in October 2006, offers over 2300 short-form travel videos, covering hundreds of destinations around the world. Travelistic's original series, The Map, features Liza de Guia, former Plum TV reporter. Travelistic was named to Hitwise's "Fast Mover" list for February 2007 and is already ranked among the top 400 travel sites.

Snowvision, launched in February 2007, offers daily snowboard videos including tricks, how-to's, interviews with top riders, and event coverage. Snowvision's partners include top DVD producers, resorts, and manufacturers from the snowboarding community.

In addition to Travelistic and Snowvision, Diversion will use Joost to distribute future channels in the Diversion Media network.
