Sail Aboard the Detroit Princess for a Day of Laughter With TCA Travel Club's "4th Annual Smooth Sailing Comedy Cruise" on August 23

Detroit, MI (PRWEB) July 14, 2008 -- Sail, laugh and eat during the "4th Annual Smooth Sailing Comedy Cruise" along the Detroit River on Saturday, Aug. 23.

Detroit's own Comedian Horace H.B. Sanders, winner of the 2003 Star Search $100,000 grand prize, will host the side-splitting event aboard the Detroit Princess at 6 p.m. The three-hour-voyage, hosted by TCA Travel Club, will feature hilarious comedy by Mary Ann, Joe Blount and from the HBO series "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and TV's "Everybody Loves Chris" comedian J.B. Smooth.

This is the perfect time for everyone to treat themselves to a leisurely and fun event according to Greg Tarver, president of TCA Travel Club.

"Summer will be over before you know it," Tarver said. "This is the perfect opportunity to enjoy one of the last warm-weather outdoor events of the year. Life is too short not to enjoy it and too stressful not to take a break and laugh. So make time to have a good time."

General admission tickets for $59 include the cruise, dinner, cash bar and dancing after the show with music played by DJ Alise. There is a Late Show Cruise at $40.00 that starts at 10:00 p.m. with cruise, comedy show, hors d'oeuvres, door prizes, and cash bar. Overnight packages are also available.
