New Look, Major Redesign, Added Focus on Travel Announced for OldWestNewWest.Com, The Internet Magazine About America's West
Cheyenne, Wyo. (PRWeb) Sept. 9, 2008 -- La Frontera Publishing announced today a new look, a major redesign and an expanded focus on travel and adventure for OldWestNewWest.Com History and Travel Magazine (oldwestnewwest.com), the company's Internet e-Zine dedicated to showcasing America's West and the national and state parks (http://www.oldwestnewwest.com/national-state-parks/), museums, historic towns, and festivals keeping alive the spirit of the Old West.
There's also a bit of a name change for the e-Zine, said Mike Harris, editor.
"We have had excellent response to our Internet magazine about the American West (http://www.oldwestnewwest.com/), and we felt the time was right to take our e-Zine to another level," said Harris. "We're letting people know about our expanded travel coverage and features by reshaping our e-Zine's name. From now on the name of our magazine says it all - OldWestNewWest.Com History and Travel Magazine."
Harris also announced that in October the e-Zine will be adding a free E-Newsletter that includes travel tips, tricks and savings. The E-Newsletter also will give those who register a preview of upcoming stories and features as well as alerts on news stories about the West.
The new site is more dynamic, easier to navigate, provides more categories and allows for polling and multi-media presentations, Harris said.
The redesign includes expanded sections for some of America's most popular national parks, such as Yellowstone (http://www.oldwestnewwest.com/national-state-parks/yellowstone/) NP, Grand Teton NP and Grand Canyon NP.
It also includes coverage of parks in Western states such as Alaska, Arizona, California, Nebraska, Nevada and Wyoming, and a section entitled History of the West, which includes the e-Zine's popular Civil War in the West series. There also are sections for Travel (http://www.oldwestnewwest.com/), Places to Visit, Things to do, Restaurants and People & Lifestyle.
"The new look and redesign make it much easier for our readers to find the stories they want, and the tips they need to enjoy their vacations and adventures in the West," Harris added.
